Implementation of Strengthening Character Education in Senior High Schools

Strengthening character education is very relevant at this time because it to realign the morals of nation's generation who are increasingly far away from values Pancasila's life. The purpose study was determine implementation strengthening in schools, especially SMAN 1 Ciseeng, Bogor Regency, West Java Province. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, data collection done by in-depth interview techniques, participant observation, and documentation study. Data analysis techniques include reduction, presentation, concluding. informants were school principals, deputy religious teachers, guidance counseling teachers. findings show that if based on clear vision mission, detailed basic formulations, strong principles, appropriate methods, will run effectively efficiently, (2) If pattern formation an integrated involving roles responsibilities all components schools role parents home, (3) with class-based culture, community-based approaches still exist obstacles its lack motivation learn students, awareness implementing KDP, sense responsibility community. Besides, there teacher commitment carrying out habits or culture.
